This game would not be possible without the work of Russell Wallace, who created the Atlantis PBEM in 1993. I would also like to thank Alex Schröder, who wrote the first German translation of Atlantis. Christian Schlittchen, Katja Zedel and Henning Peters started Eressea, and invited me to be a part of their team and become their friends in the process.
